"Experience the Cultural Confetti," with numerous on- and off-campus presenters and performers. Singing, dancing, music, storytelling, food, games, prizes, and useful information about the multitude of area cultures were showcased in this celebration, co-sponsored by the university's Equity Office and Office of Multicultural Student Development.

Admission was free to the 400+ individuals who attended and participated in this inaugural event, the success of which determined that a diversity celebration would be produced annually at Appalachian.
