Diversity Celebration 2007
1st Annual Banner Contest

Guidelines

  • Banners are to be no longer than one flat, bed sheet, or 6’ x 12’ if banner paper.
  • Designs must be in good taste.
  • The banner should display your organization’s name, logo, or crest.
  • Should exemplify you club or organization’s unique diversity.
  • Banners must relate to the theme of diversity.
  • No glitter, glitter material, glitter paint or sequins allowed on banner.
  • Banners that are painted must be dry when turned in to the Student Government office.
  • No professional sign painter services may be used.
  • Be creative! Be diverse!

Criteria for Judging Banners

  • Banners depict and follow a unique theme of Diversity. 30 points.
  • Artistic originality and creativity. 30 points.
  • Neatness and artistic presentation.  30 points.
  • Readability at a distance. 10 points.

Entry forms are due by April 11, 2007 at the Student Government office, second floor of the Plemmons Student Union.

Banners are due to the Student Government office by April 12th by 10pm. Banners will be hung and judged in the Plemmons Student Union during the Diversity Celebration: April 13th through the 17th.

Prize

1st place winner will receive FREE PIZZA for their last meeting of the 2007 Spring Semester.
