Pining in Peach Blossom Land. This ASU production is the second-ever English language adaptation of playwright/director Stan Lai’s enormous Chinese stage hit. The English world premiere was produced by Lai at Stanford in 2007. Embroidering on the magic, serendipity and tragicomedy of life, the themes of love and loss in Pining…in Peach Blossom Land echo the history of 20th-century Mainland China and Taiwan. The production is directed by faculty fellow Kin Yan Szeto. For more information go to: http://www.theatre.appstate.edu/performances/facilities/index.html
